As a third-year resident in psychiatry, I was fascinated by Dr. Robert T. London's column on hypnosis (“Hypnosis: A Call for Training,” The Psychiatrist's Toolbox, July 2009, p. 13). It's time that we changed our attitudes about alternative and complementary medicine techniques and started viewing them as adjunctive to our evidence-based treatment options.
