Efavirenz May Have Edge for Advanced HIV

MEXICO CITY — Efavirenz twice daily is at least as effective as once-daily lopinavir/ritonavir, and likely more so, when it used as part of highly active antiretroviral therapy for untreated advanced HIV infection.
